Lancia integrale Evolution 'Edizione maranello House' For sale

I bought this integrale in August 2009 and decided it was going to be my final integrale (I've owned 6). the plan was to make the car to my own spec with some personal touches. Paint, interior, wheels and even badging.

Body
I stripped the car and went through the body work repairing any weak areas. The next stage was the paint scheme. It had to be a red and I wanted lancias racing colours. It wasn't my intention to have the car looking like a Final Edition model, but I can see how it might look that way. I worked with a local paint shop mixing paint to my own spec. The red is pearled and candied but it is done in a way that only shows through in direct sunlight (you need to see it to understand) a very deep metalic finish, in dull days it looks like a deeper red. The yellow has the finest metalic flake and again only shows through in direct sunlight, and the blue is a solid colour. Paint matching in the future is not a problem as I have the exact paint mix's for all 3 colours and as the car was painted using water based paint it will be available for a long time to come.

Interior
I fitted new front seats very similar to Evo2 seats on Recaro runners and had the rear seat recovered on black leather. The instrument binnical was repainted silver and the needles of the clocks tipped red. I have added a 'Edizione Maranello House' decal inside the binnical as one of the personal touches. The Speedo dial is a proper Lancia supplied MPH overlay which are getting very hard, and expensive, to find these days. As there is a rear top strut brace fitted the spare wheel had to be relocated. I made a new false boot floor which the spare and jack fit under. There is also a set of speakers fitted but you can't see them. I have the original parcel shelf and one I made but I didn't fit either of them as I think it actually looks better without them. The rest of the interior I left standard.

Engine
As the car is a classic, spending a lot of time getting it right and if I'm honest no desire to flog the life out of it I chose not to do anything to the 8 Valve engine as it already has an electronic boost guage operated from inside the car, and I believe chip fitted making it plenty quick for me. It also has a cone air filter and straight through exhaust de-cat.

Wheels/tyres
Wheels are Compomotive 17inch TH2 which less than a year old. Tyres are new and have covered roughly 500 miles. New wheel bolts were fitted along with the wheels.

Others
Other new items include
New clutch master cylinder
HID headlights
New bright white side light bulbs to match headlights
New original Lancia Evolution wiper arms
Rear top strut brace.
Diff cradle
Elephant badges on wings
One off grill
Under bonnet vent
New original under bonnet decals
New windscreen washer jets
Bespoke mats bound in leather with "Edizione Maranellohouse" inlay
One off carbon effect sump guard

The reason the car is for sale is simple, I have less and less time to enjoy my little collection so have decided over the next few months to cut back and as much as I love my Lancia of late its been spending most of its time in the garage. The last outing it had was a show in August were it won 'Best car of show for the 1990's. It has only covered roughly 500 miles from its last mot.

I have an absolute pile of bills from the car previous owners (the car came from Walkers Lancia) to confirm how the car has been cared for, I think all old mot's and even tax discs going back to 2007. The car will be sold with a new mot (I have it now on sorn for winter) and I will have a new timing belt and tensioner fitted for the new owner.

I am looking for £13750 with the number plate included or £12500 without, I should point out that the plate is a 1979 number so can go on any model year after 1979 (unlike the normal EVO reg with the Evo after the letters that are pretty limited).

For further info please contact me on 07900211644 or email stuart@maranellohouse.com. I live 25 miles from both main airports and 25 mile from the boat terminals so there is no problem if anyone from the mainland is interested as I have had a few of my collection in the past head to the mainland with no problems.
